Due to another unfortunate bout of sickness during our 2023 trip around Europe with our 9-month old, Miss Adventure, we had to cancel our plans to tour Switzerland.
We did, fortunately, get a taste of this amazing country when we had to pass through it, stopping for only 24 hours as we made our way from Germany to Lake Como, Italy.
This left a bittersweet taste in our travel-hungry mouths.
We were disappointed that we couldn't realise the original itinerary that we had put together to visit this wonderful nation. However, in the very short time that we did get to experience the Swiss culture, cuisine and landscape, it gave us an insatiable desire for this country that will not be satisfied until we return.
Therefore, this itinerary - an extension to what was originally planned - is being formed for two reasons:
To offer some guidance to, and whole-heartedly encourage, others to make plans to travel to Switzerland and experience the magic for themselves.
Put forward our intentions, and publicly broadcast it (in hopes that, you the reader, will hold us to it**), with an aim to manifest a trip of a lifetime to a place that we know will be one our top destinations in the world.
Dream*** along with us as we take you through our perfect itinerary of Switzerland.
*Note: Our dream will also be yours, after you read this itinerary.
**Note: You won't need to hold us to it, we WILL do this trip one day - hopefully sooner rather than later.
***Note: Can we say "Dream" in this context, when we will ensure that we make it a reality?

See you on the road!
What a dream itinerary. 15 days in Switzerland would be such a treat. If I can offer considering St.Gallen to make it a 17 day itinerary with a day trip to Seealpsee and the Aescher guesthouse. Those mountains are so beautiful and there is so much to explore in the city. Wait maybe a 20 day itinerary, 22 day itinerary, 25 day...., maybe I just would live in Switzerland!
